Refund Policy

We'll try to help you out as best we can. If anything below is confusing or you just want to speak to a real person contact us using our contact form
  • We do not accept returns for change of mind in most cases
  • We do not accept returns for items which require user modification ie. soldering once the modification has been completed
  • **Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer**
  • Returns for any unmodified product is permitted within 14 days from the date of receipt of merchandise. We do not accept returns more than 14 days after the date of receipt (excluding damaged items which come with a 12 month warranty)
  • We reserve the right to deny returns on items that have new version releases (excluding damaged items).
  • Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. We are not responsible for any shipping charges of merchandise being returned to us.
  • We recommend that when shipping return items to us you purchase tracking and/insurance to ensure that the item arrives to us. We are not responsible for returns in transit and do not guarantee we have received them
  • All returned merchandise must be in its original mint and clean condition. Returns on damaged, scratched, programmed, burnt, or otherwise 'played with' merchandise will not be accepted unless authorised by us
  • All returns must include all the factory accessories which come with the item. 
  • With your return please enclose the original receipt or a copy of your correspondence email.
  • In the event that we need to send you a replacement, return shipping will only cover delivery of the replacement part. You may not add additional purchases on top of a replacement shipment.

 

RETURNS POLICY

Sometimes products need to be returned due to faults or other reasons. Please read the below information regarding our returns policy.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Standard Warranty:

  • 12-month warranty for defects and faults.

Exceptions to the "Standard Warranty":

  • Hobby-grade parts that are subject to casual mishandling in favour of convenience are often covered by a 30-day warranty unless there is reasonable evidence of a safe handling environment and practices (static safety, etc)
  • Constructed kits and interfaceable electronics (general purpose inputs and outputs on development boards) can be damaged through misuse or by mistake. Often, these scenarios are not a manufacturer fault or defect.
  • If we suspect product misuse (Short circuiting etc.) we will not honour a return or exchange

Change of Mind

If you have incorrectly ordered a product then we may exchange it for you within 7 days providing the item is in its original condition and has not been used. Item needs to be shipped back to us at buyers expense. Please contact us to organise a return number before sending item

There is a 15% fee (or minimum $7.50 for small orders) that might be collected for returns, refunds or cancellations to cover the direct costs of administration and logistics. This is assessed case by case.

Shipping costs are not refundable in either direction as they are endured by the Shipping Service Provider (Australia Post / Amarac / etc).

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the item is faulty. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item

Store Credits
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a voucher for the applicable value will be issued to you.
